Damian Bacci started playing guitar 37 years ago and has traveled all over North America playing in Rocket 88, a national swing act enjoying success during the swing craze of the late 90's. Damian also formed Blue Flame Combo a rockabilly act that played gigs varying from NYC's CBGB'S to Nashville's legendary Blue Grass Inn. The band enjoyed some international success when British rockabilly label (Nervous Records) pressed their cd. Blue Flame Combo's first album has been recognized in the book Rockabilly: The Twang Heard 'Round the World: The Illustrated History in the "World Wide Rockabilly Revival" chapter. Damian has opened for acts such as Jerry Lee Lewis, Link Wray, Ronnie Dawson, Lee Rocker(of the Stray Cats), The Reverend Horton Heat and Gene Loves Jezebel.
With many recordings under his belt in styles ranging from rockabilly,swing,blues and hard rock, Damian has become a very versatile guitarist who knows the ropes of being a musician. He has years of performing in either the small town bars or huge concert halls like the House Of Blues or Hard Rock Live.
Damian is a native of New York, but has called St. Petersburg,Florida his home for the past 12 years. When he is away from his guitar he likes to spend time with his daughter, do tricks on his bmx bike and catch up on his piano and mandolin playing..
